AACP menu#

• New Tools folder in the AACP sidebar. Statistics, Yandex Metrica and the malware scanner moved into it.
• Rule: a module never adds a top-level AACP menu entry. Any AACP item a module registers without a parent (or parented to another module item) is filed under Tools automatically at compile time. A module that names a core folder as its parent keeps that placement.

Forms and widgets#

• Image and file fields of the Field API now have a real widget: preview, choose from the media library, remove. Before, they rendered as a hidden input and did not show on the form at all.
• Multi-value fields (for example social links) get add and remove buttons.
• The media picker supports multi-select (open(callback, {multiple: true})): click several images, confirm once. Single select is unchanged. New lookup endpoint /admin/media/api/assets/{id}/meta for previews.
• Blog and Pages forms load the new widgets, so their custom image fields work too.

Fixes#

• Header overflow: the Studio header's right side wraps instead of overflowing, the user avatar no longer collapses to a sliver, the name is truncated, and the live search narrows on small screens and hides under 768 px.
• Editor: the toolbar listed a media embed button without the plugin, which logged a console error. The plugin is now registered.
• Release tooling: CSS classes used by modules that are not part of the core archive (such as Portal) are now included when the core stylesheet is built, so those pages keep their layout.

Portal 1.2.0 (extension store)#

Multi-select media attach for albums and people, cover image in the side column, rebuilt record forms (poll option editor, ad slots, dictionary, comments, submissions), and new news, article and announcement fields: summary, source, featured, author name, news categories. Requires core 2.2.51.

No core schema changes. Clear cp-core/var/cache/prod/ after updating, and the Redis cache if you use one.
